At Orlando Playball, we are committed to educating the whole child through sport and movement.
What is Playball?
Playball is an educational sport and movement program which aims to teach not only the physical skills, but also life skills in a positive, educational environment.
Who designed Playball?
The progressive curriculum was designed by a panel of experts and continues to be updated and expanded. The panel consists of teachers, occupational therapists, child psychologists, and sport professionals.
How does the program work?
The highly trained coaching staff conduct thirty-minute sessions once per week at select educational facilities. Two to nine-year-olds are taught age appropriate lessons based on six ball sports including, baseball, basketball, soccer, hockey, tennis, and volleyball.
Playball has been educating children for almost 30 years and is currently being taught to over 300,000 children per week in thirteen countries. By using sport as a means, Playball provides a sound base from which to develop every aspect of the child's life - physical, emotional, social, and cognitive.
